WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Wall Stadium Speedway and the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club are looking for all former stock car driving champions at the third mile high banked paved oval. The intention is for the speedway and the GSVSCC to host a “Wall Stadium Champions Night’s” in conjunction with a racing date sometime in June or July.

All former champions, and people who know or are related to former driving champions, are asked to call the GSVSCC at 732-330-8349 or 732-840-6307 or email the club at big block7s@comcast.net or gsvssc@comcast.net.

“We wanted to come up with a special night this year and I think Champion’s Night will really work out,” GSVSCC president Ray Shea said. “We are looking for as many former champions as we can find. We are asking former champions to contact us and also those who know former champions to contact us with a way to get in touch with these champions.

“The speedway staff and management and the members of the club think it will be very special to honor these champions again.”

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays from now through November. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
