Evergreen State Fair time at Evergreen Speedway; Arkansas Mobile Home Jump

MONROE, Wash. (Aug. 23, 2002) - This Friday, August 23rd, Evergreen Speedway presents it’s first Arkansas Mobile Home Jump. A 50-plus foot Mobile Home will be jumped through right on the front stretch for all to see. The car will enter on one end, then watch as it comes out of the other!!

Also back by popular demand the Boat Races, along with Bump to Pass Cars, Lightning Trucks, the ever-popular Hornets and the Randy’s Ring & Pinion NASCAR Bombers

Gai’s Bakery Presents Figure Eight Nationals

This Saturday, August 24th, Gai’s Bakery presents The Figure Eight Nationals. This prestigious 100-lap event has a long rich history of competitors from all over the Nation. With $1500.00 up for grabs to the winner, this busiest intersection in the world will be the center of attention.

The NASCAR Super Stocks are ready to continue the battle for the Championship. John Zaretzke (Maltby) has a 14-point lead as he holds off the hard charging defending Track Champion and Regional Champion, Tom Moriarity (Monroe). The NASCAR Mini Stocks locked in a four way duel for the Championship will be on hand as last seasons Champion Scott LaCross (Kenmore) has just 9 points advantage over Nat Barber (Bothell) Just 40 points separate the top four. In Randy’s Ring & Pinion NASCAR Bombers, Dave Lund will try to capture a main event win after finishing second 2 times in a row. He is also in contention for the NASCAR Regional ShorTrack Championship.

Adults (16-61) Race/Fair Combo Ticket $20.00
Senior (62+) Race/Fair Combo Ticket $14.00
Child (6-15) Race/Fair Combo Ticket $ 8.00
