 by Gary CampDOVER, Del. -- The major storyline surrounding the 2010 NASCAR season will be which driver will step up and challenge four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team. A slew of drivers have aspirations of being the one to put an end to Johnson’s four year reign as series champion, and if they’re going to do so, they’ll have to beat him at one of his best tracks – Dover International Speedway – where he completed the season sweep in 2009. Race fans can reserve great seats beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 for the Sept. 26, 2010 “AAA 400,” race No. 2 in the “Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup,” the Sept. 25, 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series race, and the Sept. 24 “Sunoco 150” NASCAR Camping World Series race. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Dover ticket office at 800-441-RACE or online at DoverSpeedway.com. “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race tickets start at just $55, and a new $35 junior ticket is available for kids 11 and under in the alcohol- and tobacco-free Family Seating Section. By ordering early, fans can choose seats from a variety of seating selections and better ticket availability. Dover’s popular hospitality options, including the Monster Mile Club, Blue Crew, Turn 4 Club and Take a Kid to the Races packages, will also be available starting December 14. Dover continues to offer event ticket insurance for all events, along with an array of ticket options including a $25 discount on three-day ticket packages, all-inclusive hospitality packages, early buy discounts, and a variety of payment plans.
