DOVER, Del. -- The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk, sponsored by Genentech BioOncology, will return to Dover International Speedway on Saturday, May 15 immediately following the “Heluva Good! 200” NASCAR Nationwide Series race. The unique opportunity allows fans to walk a lap around the one-mile, concrete track and benefits several charities including Autism Delaware, Komen for the Cure, Victory Junction, Motor Racing Outreach and The NASCAR Foundation.

Track Walk participants can choose which charity they would like to represent and they’ll have the opportunity to walk alongside drivers and personalities including Bobby Labonte and Krista Voda (Autism Delaware); Kyle Petty (Victory Junction); Matt Kenseth, Joey Logano, Michael McDowell and David Reutimann (Motor Racing Outreach); or Dixie and Wade from CAT Country 97.5 FM in Salisbury, Md. (The NASCAR Foundation). Other celebrity participants will be posted on DoverSpeedway.com as they are announced.

To register for The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk at Dover, log on to WWW.NASCAR.COM/foundation and click “Track Walks.” The cost to register online is $30.

Registration will also be available at the track on race weekend. Fans can visit The NASCAR Foundation display in the FanZone on Friday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday, May 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to register at the track is $35.

Children 14 and under may walk for free with a registered adult. All participants, including online registrants, must stop by the registration booth on race weekend to sign waivers.

NASCAR returns to the Monster Mile on May 14-16, 2010. Dover continues to offer event ticket insurance for all events, along with an array of ticket options including a $25 discount on three-day ticket packages, all-inclusive hospitality packages, early buy discounts, and a variety of payment plans.
