ST. JOHNS, Pa. -- After crashing out of the opening day feature last month at Sundance Vacations Speedway, Kyle Ebersole of Hummelstown, PA rebounded with a feature win. He doubled that feat again on Mother's Day when he beat Earl Paules to the checkers to score his second straight Modified feature win. Joe Barbush of Drums, PA started ninth in the Street Stock main and drove off to score his first victory of the season and 14-year old Mike Kline of Lancaster, PA picked up his first career victory in the 4 Cyl. FWD feature.

Allen Creveling started from the pole position and was overtaken for the race lead by Bobby Jones following the initial start of the 40-lap Modified main event. Barry Callavini held third, followed by Earl Paules and Kyle Ebersole.

Callavini overtook Creveling for second and both Paules and Ebersole followed. Paules shot by Callavini and into the second spot on lap four. Ebersole grabbed the third spot from Callavini two laps later. Meanwhile, after started back in the eighth spot, Zane Zeiner cracked the top five.

Zeiner overtook Callavini for fourth on lap eight. Meanwhile, Paules tried to find a line around Jones. While working the outside in turn four, Paules push up the speedway, which allowed Ebersole, Zeiner and Callavini to get by. The caution flag flew a lap later when Dave Schneider spun in turn three and Paules headed to the pits for adjustments.

Green flag racing resumed and Ebersole hung on the outside of Jones. The pair battled for a couple of laps before Ebersole took command of the event. Meanwhile, Zeiner attempted to overtake Jones and contact between the two on lap 18 brought out a yellow flag and both drivers had to restart at the tail end of the field.

With Ebersole in the lead, Callavini held third, followed by Nick Pecko, Harry Buchman and Todd Baer.

Peck got by Callavini to grab the second spot following the restart and Baer slipped into third. While racing hard for the runner up spot on lap 26, the pair touched wheels and Pecko went around. The turn one incident brought out another yellow flag. Paules, who had pitted earlier found himself in second for the restart, with Jones, Zeiner and Buchman in tow.

It appeared that Paules didn't have anything to challenge Ebersole for the $1500 win over the closing laps. The win is Ebersole's second straight of the season. Paules settled for second, followed by Zeiner, Jones and Baer.

Heat race wins went to Zane Zeiner and Todd Baer. As long as he meets the program requirements, Bobby Jones will pick up $50 because his finishing position was pulled in victory lane for the Sundance Vacations Contingency Program.

Brian Brown started from the pole and was overtaken by Harry Sager before a single lap was scored in the 25-lap Street Stock feature. Mitch Hawk held third with Mike Garris, Sr. and Josh Oswald closely following.

Hawk moved into the second spot and then lost the position to Oswald on lap four. Joe Barbush, Jr. held the third spot on lap seven, with Chip Wanamaker and Hawk as the top five.

A yellow flag was thrown on lap seven when Robert Fink got into Garris in turns one and two. Green flag racing resumed and Barbush overtook Oswald for second. Others got by Oswald as well, including Wanamaker and then Scott Meckes.

Sager held off several pass attempts from Barbush and finally surrendered the lead on lap 10.

The closing laps were caution-free and Barbush took his second $500 win of the season in dominating fashion over Sager, Wanamaker, Meckes and Hawk.

Heat race wins went to Steve Shultz and Mike Garris, Sr. As long as he meets the program requirements, Robert Haueisen will pick up $50 because his finishing position was pulled in victory lane for the Sundance Vacations Contingency Program.

The caution flag waved before a single lap was scored in the 20-lap 4 Cylinder FWD feature when Robert Fink spun and collected Justin Hughes in turn four.

Dave Freundt started on the pole position and was overtaken by outside pole sitter Mike Kline when the green flag waved again. Eric Banashefski held third, followed by Pete Verwys and Brian Kunkel.

Banashefski worked into the second spot on lap one and then lost the position when Freundt and Verwys overtook him.

In dominating fashion and at only 14 years old, Kline took the checkered flag to notch his first career victory over Freundt, P. Verwys, Robert Fink and Bill Verwys, Jr. with three laps remaining.

Heat race wins went to Mike Kline and Bill Verwys, Jr. Eric Banashefski picked up $50 because his finishing position was pulled in victory lane for the Sundance Vacations Contingency Program.
