By the time Sunday's Round 12 was over, Rick Huseman, driver of the No.3 FABTECH/Toyota TRD/Toyo Tires/TRAXXAS Pro 4, claimed a 50% share of the top spot in the 2008 CORR Pro 4 Series race for the championship with last year's champion, Carl Renezeder.

There were no huge celebrations in the Team Renezeder pit after rounds 11 and 12 of the 15-race CORR series this past weekend in Chula Vista, California, but three second-place finishes and one third kept the team alive in the points races in both the Pro-4 and Pro-2 divisions.

After a rather unsuccessful weekend of racing over Labor Day weekend in Crandon, Wisconsin, Carl Renezeder is ready to head back to the track that has been host to a lot of success for him since it opened at the beginning of 2007 - Chula Vista International Off-Road Raceway.

Taylor Racing has been struggling, much of the year, with the chassis setup on his newly built #8 Skyjacker Suspensions BFGoodrich Tires Ford F-150 PRO-2. The team was looking forward to racing back at “The Quarry” in Chula Vista, as a familiar track would, hopefully, get Scott Taylor and his Ford F-150 back on track.

With three more wins added to Carl Renezeder’s stats at the end of rounds seven and eight of the 2008 CORR season at Chula Vista International Off Road Raceway, he has now won 11 of 16 races at the facility. And even when the fourth race wasn’t won, a few lucky moments allowed him to still finish on the podium.
