Once again, nature has forced postponement of the season opener at Raceway 7. Although the track is in good condition, the parking areas are waterlogged to the point that they are unusable.

Over 60 drivers, employees, and notables, including original owner Mildred Blystone gathered for a gala reunion at Raceway 7 along with the United Late Model Series for the biggest event of the season but Mother Nature had different plans and let loose a torrent of rain during the introduction ceremonies during intermission after heat races had been completed.
