INDIANAPOLIS -- The 2012 USAC Western Classic Sprint Car Series continues this weekend with races at Chico and Placerville, Calif. and female driver Shauna Hogg will be out to protect her lead over Tony Hunt.

Hogg has an 88-point edge over Hunt going into Friday’s race at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. Saturday’s race is at Placerville Speedway.

Hunt is chasing a ninth USAC racing title, which would tie him with Rich Vogler and Sleepy Tripp for second place all-time behind A.J. Foyt’s record 13.
