ATLANTA, Ga. -- Southern Race Week Radio, 94.9 FM The Bull and Petco partners with local shelters and rescues to hold adoption events at Petco stores to help find loving homes for thousands of adoptable pets on February 18th & 19th. You can find a local pet adoption event at a Petco store on many weekends, especially our National Adoption Weekend. "We're all pet lovers at Southern Race Week and so are NASCAR and racing fans in general, said William Barber, host of Southern Race Week Radio. "We want to encourage our shows listeners to get out to you local Petco Store this weekend and adopt a pet and give it a loving home."

Since 1999, Petco has placed over $3,000,000 pets with loving homes and has raised over $90,000,000 for pets in need. The Southern Race Week and 94.9 The Bull Teams will be at the Petco off Moreland Avenue (1267 Caroline Street NE) in Atlanta this Saturday afternoon February 18th from 3-5PM. "We want to encourge our listeners to come out and check out these loving animals and take on home with you," added Barber.
