Stock Car Stats Pro Expands Lineup in 2010

MENASHA, Wis. -- The Stock Car Stats Pro franchise is broadening its horizons in 2010 by releasing several new versions of the program. Originally offering an all-inclusive advanced asphalt version, SCSP will offer a basic version for cost efficiency and an all-new dirt version (also in advanced and basic) for those who play on the clay.

For teams on a tighter budget, SCSP released a basic version this off-season. The basic version includes chassis info, a race events list, a race session with tire detail, race setups and scaling information.

The chassis info allows teams to enter each chassis being used by the team. Teams can store notes regarding any changes or repairs made to the car. The chassis detail involves entering all the information about the chassis’ setup at any given point in the chassis’ history, whether it is during scaling or a race event.

After setting a baseline setup for comparison, teams can use the scaling detail to document any adjustment made during a scaling session. The adjustments are compared and the changes made from one adjustment to the next will be highlighted giving teams the ability to quickly see what changes were made through the scaling process.

Teams can track what happened during any given venture onto the speedway with session information. All outgoing and incoming tire pressures, tire temps, and brake temps can be tracked. With that input, Stock Car Stats Pro will calculate the stagger. An area is provided for driver comments, crew chief comments and overall comments.

The advanced version includes qualifying information, shock detail/inventory, and much more.

Among the others features, is tire detail. Tire detail tracks the total number of laps on the tire, the race tracks it was used at, the type of session, position on the car and its in size and pressure from each session. Also, teams can enter compound, hardness, sticker size, initial size with air, final hot size, mark size, un-mounted measurement, mounted measurement and measured tire pressure.

The dirt versions include the same features, but with a few twists for the specializations of a dirt racer, and covers late models, modifieds and stock cars. An updated version for sprint cars is slated to be released some time in August of 2010.

Stock Car Stats Pro was designed by professional programmer Cindy Zelinske with the help of crew chiefs and drivers from the Midwestern racing scene. The first version of the program was released in 2006. In 2010 SCSP has expanded from the original asphalt to dirt and soon-to-be-released sprint car versions.

The vision of Stock Car Stats Pro is to provide race teams with a solution for keeping notes on their race car's setup and performance so it is easily sorted and accessible at the race track. From chassis detail, tire detail, event detail and qualifying information, Stock Car Stats Pro has areas to record a wide variety of information. Stock Car Stats Pro provides different tiers to fit racers needs and budgets.

Stock Car Stats Pro is a proud contingency partner of the Mid-American Stock Car Series and ASA Midwest Tour. For more information visit www.stockcarstatspro.com
