CBS Sports Network to Air 2012 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series

CORONA, Calif. -- Lucas Oil Products, Inc., and Lucas Oil Production Studios have reached an agreement with CBS Sports Network to televise the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. CBS Sports Network will air 35 hours of Lucas Oil programming. The Series debuts Sunday, May 13 (8:00 PM, ET) and will continue every Sunday at 8:00 PM, ET throughout 2012.

"We are excited about this new relationship with CBS Sports Network and the additional television coverage being afforded the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series," said Bob Patison, Executive Vice President of Lucas Oil Products, Inc. "CBS Sports Network shares our vision for this sport and is providing us with the platform to maintain consistent television coverage of the Series from the beginning of the season to the very end."

"This deal further increases our event programming, and provides fans a dedicated weekly outlet to watch this exciting racing series."

CBS Sports Network will also add a "Behind the Wheel" segment to the Series that takes viewers behind-the-scenes with Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Carl Renezeder, Carey Hart, Rob McCachren and other top racers to explore the driver's mindset, team dynamics and race strategies from the competitor's viewpoint.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is the evolution of the long-standing support of short course racing by Forrest Lucas and Lucas Oil Products. Steeped in the Midwest tradition of short course off road racing infused with a West Coast influence, Lucas Oil Off Road Racing brings intense four wheel door to door action to challenging, fan friendly tracks.
