INDIANAPOLIS -- Shauna Hogg continues to lead the 2012 USAC Western Classic Sprint Car series standings with an August 3 race at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. next on the calendar. She is 88 points ahead of Ton Hunt in the latest standings after they finished sixth and 10th respectively in Saturday night’s “Gerhardt Classic” main event at the Madera (Calif.) Speedway.

Brian McClish of Santa Rose, Calif. won the Madera 50-lapper, leading the final 40 laps to beat Audra Sasselli, Tim Skoglund, Cody Gerhardt and Scott Pierovich. Sasselli led the first 10 laps of the race.

Pierovich set a new one-lap track qualifying record during qualifications.
