KNOXVILLE, Iowa -- The BR Motorsports 'cut-away sprint car,' as seen on World of Outlaws (WoO) show on the Speed Channel, is now on display at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville in time for the 52nd annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals.

According to 1992 National Sprint Car Poll 'Rookie of the Year' Blake Robertson of BR Motorsports, 'The car was built at our shop in Visalia, California It took over one year to complete the project. We debuted it at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Orlando in 2006. Some of the parts were supplied to us already cut away, but the majority we did ourselves in our machine shop at BR Motorsports.'

Amongst the companies that participated in the project were Schoenfeld Headers, Brodix Cylinder Heads, Hilborn Fuel Injection, KSE Steering, Fuel Safe, King Racing Products, DMI, Waterman Fuel Pumps, MSD and Dan Olson Oil Pans.

Museum executive director Bob Baker said today, 'We can't thank Blake Robertson and his team at BR Motorsports/King Racing Products enough for helping make this exhibit happen here at the non-profit museum. We also have to thank Nelson Stewart and Warren Ropp for helping us with the transportation of the cut-away car from Charlotte to Knoxville. We know that this exhibit, combined with the 'Salute to Champion Jeff Gordon' six-car display, will make a great impression on sprint car fans visiting Knoxville and our museum this year.'
